Well, there is a new family member on the way. Exciting, yes, poor timing for our trip....uh, yes. Baby is due at the end of August and we were supposed to depart for Hungary... the end of August.
Plan B. Actually, plan A. Our original plan was to travel to Spain and Portugal this fall. After our trip to Prague, we decided Eastern Europe would be fun this time around instead. We have decided to not take a chance at missing the birth of our third grandchild, which means pushing back our departure by a few weeks. No timeshare availability in Hungary at that time, so, back to Plan A. At least the Spain part of Plan A.
Our Spain trip will be budget friendly and time friendly so that we can still make our Hungary/Romania/ Bulgaria/Turkey trip in 2012. Budget friendly actually means using some of our timeshare time rather than staying in hostels. Funny huh?
We have booked two weeks in timeshares in Spain for the end of September and first week in October. The first week is in the Costa del Sol. The second week in the Costa Brava. Both locations are on the southern coast of Spain. We will spend a third week seeing a big city or two.
Madrid? Seville? Barcelona???? Hmn... the possibilities.
Time to start the Euro vs Dollar hunt.
