Spontaneous us!!!

9.13.2012 We were supposed to be in Brasov for another day but decided we had seen all we wanted to see so we made the spontaneous decision to cancel a night at the hostel there and book one for Varna, Bulgaria on the Black Sea instead. This involved an early, all day train ride, which we shared with our Brasov hostel friends Daniel and JoHo. They are two young men from Finland. We rode in assigned seats, sharing a cabin with a couple from Cambridge, England for the first few hours to the border where we changed trains and rode with the guys from there. We shared snacks and stories and the time passed as enjoyably as a noisy Bulgarian train ride can (these are some pretty rough trains we have been riding)

We parted for different hostels once in Varna. We were booked at the pirate themed "Yo Ho Hostel". We found our hostel with a few stumbles, at about 9 pm. Dropped our packs and headed for a restaurant recommended by the hostel staff. We had a delicious meal before stumbling home to bed. No need to unpack because we were only staying for 24 hours.
