Countdown: Twelve days until Greece departure

The days, weeks and months have flown by and suddenly I am almost down to single digit days for my countdown.

The first three weeks of my trip will involve my sister Carrie and our friend Annelle. The three of us will spend our time visiting the sights of Corinth, Ancient Delphi, Meteora, Northern Greece, the beaches of Chalkdiki, and we will spend a few days in the country of Macedonia.

After spending the last few days of "Greece part 1" in Athens, we will fly to Rhodes where  we will be joined by the remainder of our group Lauri, Gina, Deiann, Kim and Danielle for "Greece part 2".

We intend to spend our time in Rhodes visiting the Butterfly Valley, a few wineries, some ancient sites, possibly a Greek cooking class and a whole lot of hanging out together and beach hopping.

The final ten days (Greece part 3) I, Deiann and Lauri will be a group of three that will be visiting southern Greece. We will visit Ancient Epivadros, Mycenae, Mystras, Nafplion and Monemvasia. We will also make a trip to the island of Hydra. Peloponese is the stomping grounds of the likes of Hercules (Heracles)  and Achilles, the Spartans and Homer's Iliad.

My bags are mostly packed, our plans are mostly in place, and my stomache is mostly flip flopping with excitement/nervousness (as it always is at this stage before I travel).
