After an uneventful train trip on the bullet train, we arrived in Paris. After our experience a week earlier, we were mildly concerned about how locating our accommodations would progress.
We arrived at Gare Lyon train station and located the nearest tourist information. The agent gave us a metro map and we set off into the depths of the Paris Metro system. We quickly found our metro and jumped on. At our stop we got off and went straight to the correct bus stop. There sat our bus, practically glowing in the Parisan sunshine, waiting just for us. I swear I heard angels singing!! We hopped aboard and the bus took off. We rode straight to our stop, walked the 5 blocks to our resort and were checked in in moments. Again....angels! We were so happy to have had such a trouble free day. Oh, and so relieved to put down our souveneir swollen backpacks!
